Flight Arrival

Fly to Dominie Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong. Popular routes to Sorong are via Jakarta (CGK-SOQ), Makassar (UPG-SOQ) and Manado (MDC-SOQ). Plan to arrive before 12 noon, but better if you can take a much earlier flight. Take into account that flight delays are common in this region.

Taxi Transfer Take a taxi to Rakyat Port (Pelabuhan Rakyat) which is about 15 minutes from the airport. If you don't have a lot of gear to carry, you can also consider taking a motorcycle taxi (ojek).
Boat Transfer Catch the 2:00 p.m. public ferry from Rakyat Port to Waisai Harbour. The journey will take about 2 hours.
Boat Transfer The resort staff will meet you at Waisai Harbour and transfer you to Raja Ampat Biodiversity Eco Resort on Gam Island. The journey will take about 30 minutes.

Boat Transfer Catch the 2 p.m. public ferry from Waisai Harbour to Rakyat Port. The journey will take about 2 hours.
Overnight Spend the night in Sorong.
Departure Flight Fly out of Dominie Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong.

For your departure, if you depart on a Wednesday or a Friday, you can catch the 9 a.m. public ferry that arrives Sorong at 11 a.m., and then take the last flight out of Sorong, thus avoiding having to overnight in Sorong.
