That’s why the entire ensemble, from the cottages over-water to the restaurant and dive briefing area, is built using locally sourced, low-impact materials and all furnishings are hand-made to help the local economy and use the local resources. Conservation efforts address not only the land but also the marine life in order to protect and preserve this piece of heaven and the unique species that can be found in the water. The local community is actively involved in protecting the marine life from spear fishing, coral reef destruction and ocean animal slaughter.
Kri Eco Resort has 13 cottages of different categories: 4 Papuan Cottages, 7 Superior Cottages, and 2 Deluxe Cottages.

The restaurant area is a large, airy and over-water, designed in the same traditional Papuan style as the rest of the resort. The meals are freshly made here and include breakfast, lunch and dinner, while coffee and tea-making facilities are available all day long.
Papuan Cottages are the standard room type and are located alongside the footbridge built over the lagoon. The over-water cottages place their guests closer to where the magic happens so that you may see flying fish, small turtles or even baby sharks (no worries - they are inoffensive).
Papuan Cottages have a shared bathroom with a western-style toilet and mandi shower (a mandi is an Indonesian-style shower where a hand bailer is used to pour water over yourself),
