MV Celebes Explorer 9 was commissioned on October 2019 and replaces the MV Celebes Explorer which has now been retired from service. This liveaboard is the only liveaboard operating in the area. This liveaboard spans 29 m in length and can travel up to 10 knots.
With fairly basic amenities, this liveaboard is a great fit for divers who don't mind forgoing a little luxury and focus on diving Sipadan Island every day. This liveaboard has 8 units of twin share cabin and can accommodate 16 guests.

Facilities
MV Celebes Explorer 9 has the usual facilities geared towards divers. The tank filling station is located at the stern. The lounge and dining area is spacious and air-conditioned on the middle deck. Internet access is available in the lounge, but may not always be reliable.
